Outdoor & Play, a family firm established by Lynne and Ian Roberts, has achieved a reputation as leading designers and installers of quality equipment for educational and public play areas.
With both of us coming from large families, and now with our own young family, we recognise the importance and relevance of interactive play for today's children. It's what led us into this business.
Lynne's background in the NHS as a cardiac nurse, and the rehabilitation of heart attack and stroke patients, highlighted the importance of healthy life choices and physical activity. Where better to focus than on today's youngsters?
Ian's educational and career background in estate maintenance, landscape design and construction provides a broad based knowledge of the outdoor environment.
Our combined skills and knowledge have enabled us to design innovative play space solutions, from new build, utilisation of awkward space and installation of challenging play apparatus.
Whilst running a successful company is important, the real buzz is for the projects where "off the peg" products have no place. We have a passion and enthusiasm to provide unique playground solutions.
